on a wonderful Fall day! What could be more fun!
We went exploring at a local preservation spot and found some really cool things...
Like 2 branches growing around a rock that was wedged in between.It has been there for so long that the rock will barely wiggle.

LOTS AND LOTS of shelf mushrooms. KM became fascinated with these on a hike a few years ago and every time she seems them she takes more pics.

Great pictures! I miss the north during the fall. I miss the smell of fall and the colors everywhere. Here in SC we tend to see colors for a short time and everything stays wet.
