Scholastic always has fabulous resources and there First Thanksgiving section isn't any different. They use all the links and connections to Plimoth Plantation and includes the more accurate ~ and often less known ~ information from the Wampanoag Tribes.
They also have a webcast coming up next week that is FREE to all educational institutions. If you miss or can't make the live event, a replay will be available at that link starting Wed, Nov. 17th.
For more of how we have studied Thanksgiving in the past you can take a look at the links in this post.

Hi - Thanks for wanting to share your ideas & comments! I love hearing what others have to say, but just so that everyone is aware, I have the right and option to decide to post a comment or not. Foul language, inappropriate comments, lashing out at the world, or posting irrelevant ad links are a few reasons why posts may be rejected. My daughter & her friends like to frequently see what is being posted so therefore I would like to keep it clean.
I also have a tendency to reject "Anonymous" posts as I feel the content is not verifiable, therefore is often either irrelevant or not viable.
If your comment has been accepted - it will generally appear in less than 24 hours! Thanks Gina
