Science Thursday - urgh Friday - Volcanoes

Well the humidity this week caused our volcano to take a bit longer to dry than expected, but she thought it was worth the wait...

Then she added bubbles to see how the texture and flow would be different...

gotta love the simple things....

  1. I love the form that you used. Did it come with a kit?

  2. Yes it was part of a kit from Smithsonian - this is not the one that I got, but is the closest one I could find - http://www.amazon.com/Smithsonian-52042-Giant-Volcano/dp/B00200JX2Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1249680134&sr=8-2

When CJ got home KM showed him and they are already coming up with ways to modify it, drilling out the center and a hole on the side so that it will REALLY Erupt!

Hi - Thanks for wanting to share your ideas & comments! I love hearing what others have to say, but just so that everyone is aware, I have the right and option to decide to post a comment or not. Foul language, inappropriate comments, lashing out at the world, or posting irrelevant ad links are a few reasons why posts may be rejected. My daughter & her friends like to frequently see what is being posted so therefore I would like to keep it clean.
I also have a tendency to reject "Anonymous" posts as I feel the content is not verifiable, therefore is often either irrelevant or not viable.
If your comment has been accepted - it will generally appear in less than 24 hours! Thanks Gina
