PHYSICS FRIDAY - #4
She finished up the first unit in the kit this week by making a pretty neat contraption:
She will be experimenting with this all weekend, to see how far she can shoot it, what else she can shoot and she may even try to aim for some better targets....hopefully the dogs and cats won't be in the line of fire!

Hi - Thanks for wanting to share your ideas & comments! I love hearing what others have to say, but just so that everyone is aware, I have the right and option to decide to post a comment or not. Foul language, inappropriate comments, lashing out at the world, or posting irrelevant ad links are a few reasons why posts may be rejected. My daughter & her friends like to frequently see what is being posted so therefore I would like to keep it clean.
I also have a tendency to reject "Anonymous" posts as I feel the content is not verifiable, therefore is often either irrelevant or not viable.
If your comment has been accepted - it will generally appear in less than 24 hours! Thanks Gina
Are these kits that you order, or are they something available at any store? These are very interesting... Gavin will be doing physics in 2 years, so I'm curious!

ReplyDeleteThese are all from one kit - Physics Workshop from Thames & Kosmos - http://www.thamesandkosmos.com/products/pw/pw2.html - this is a great explanation, but I am sure if you search you can find it for a much lower price! They also have a junior edition. I LOVE all the sets we have gotten from them.
